Here is a design I pitched to Newport Beach Magazine, a new publication scheduled to come out in Aug or Sept of this year. I was down in Newport Beach, CA and took several shots of the waves crashing against the rocks. The sounds of the ocean waters hitting the rocks was like hearing an angelic chorus... at least to my mind's eye. I chose the image below to work on. I imported and modified the photo in Adobe Lightroom and continued the editing process in Adobe Photoshop. That's where I added the headline and text. I used text from another magazine, by same publisher only for comp purposes. Thanks for viewing.
